Environmental awareness and understanding play a very important role in our daily Pre-school program and routines.

'The KESAB Metropolitan Environment Award' (1999 and 2000)

This award recognises outstanding achievements in areas such as Pre-school grounds and waste minimisation strategies, which include our worm farm, composting, recycling, etc. and water and energy conservation.

Children regularly participate in many "hands on" activities, which provide practical opportunities for learning about environmental management and responsibility. Pre-schoolers help to grow vegetables, assist with gardening tasks, care for our pet bird on the weekends, share their observations along our unique "Sensory Trail" and meet in our mini-rainforest.
